White or ivory leather doll boot with pom pom on the top marked 10 with incised image of barefoot doll wearing chemise with the word DEPOSE in all capital letters under her feet.
Shoe was found on a DEP doll with a bisque head size 10, feet marked 10 on the bottom and a doll box marked 10 for Bebe Galeries Lafayette.

Bisque head with fixed eyes and closed mouth marked only with the size 3/0 is the face of the early BEBE BREVETE patented in 1879 by Leon Casimir Bru.
The doll head swivels on a square bisque shoulder plate. The shoulder plate would have the same size marking on one shoulder, but might be hard to see due to wear. The shoulder plate would lie under the leather with a Bebe Brevete paper label across the chest.

French doll marking incised on the back of the doll head with Denamur's initials and the number of the doll head size between the letters. Underneath is the word "depose."
There is another doll brand that used the same type of mark but Denamur dolls' are recognized by the thick eyebrows that come very close together and the high forehead.

Doll marking incised on the back of the doll head with only the letters DEP and then the number 10 at the bottom of the neck and incised 10 marked on the bottom of her feet. She also had a 10 marked inside her wig.
German made doll head produced for the French market. ( SFBJ ) Believed to be made by Simon & Halbig. This doll face used for dolls such as "Paris Bebe" and others with names on their dresses.
This doll head was found in original box stamped November 1912 and can be seen in an SFBJ 1912 trade catalog. The doll was dressed in a first communion dress that has been identified as a Bebe Jumeau marketing doll (SFBJ era).
Incised mark on bisque head registered first by la Societe Fleischmann & Bloedel in 1890. Then renewed by SFBJ in 1905.
This Eden Bebe as an open mouth with teeth and pierced ears. Earlier heads do not have teeth and closed mouths.

Doll head was marked 2/0 on its back as well as on its right shoulder under the leather. This doll head was on kid (goat) leather covered body.

Doll head with no markings but painted eyes. Gutta-percha jointed body and bisque hands. Face and body resemble the construction of the Huret fashion dolls of earlier era. Notice the joints.

Antique French leather doll boots marked with size number and the initials L. I. within an oval.
French doll painters mark of an H and a V on a Jumeau bisque doll head. Circa early 1890s.
Doll has pierced ears with closed mouth and fixed eyes. Finely painted eyebrows both upper and lower and painted multi-stroke eyebrows.
Painted Lips are slightly upturned on the ends and the shaded lip paint is outlined slightly on the top of the upper lips.

French doll marking incised on the back of the doll head reads only "2" at the bottom of the neck.
Doll has pierced ears with an open mouth and 4 teeth, painted upper and lower lashes and eyebrows, blue paper weight eyes.
Body was restrung so I had no confirmation if all was original. She stood about 11.5" with feet engraved with the number 1. An unreadable number engraved on her back.

Top number reads 29 and head size mark says 8 at the bottom of the neck.
Doll has pierced ears with the hole going to the inside of the bisque head and not through to the outside of the ear.

Doll had pierced ears, fixed eyes, and a mouth that appear to be open, no teeth.
The RD on some will have a number in the middle. This doll had a chip there, so it is not known what number might have been there is there was one.

This head was found on a Jumeau jointed doll body with pink toned finish and the oval paper label on the torso. (Doll was 20 inches tall.)

Doll was 27 cm in height. This doll had an engraved 2 on her back and on the bottom of her feet.
