Patents

In 1903 they patented #145860 a locking device for doll sleeping eyes.

In 1904 Sprechsaal announced the Buschow & Beck 1903 registered patent Klasse 77 c. No. 147 817 (translated), “Sleeping eyes for dolls’ heads. To replace the easily breakable spherical glass sleeping eyes of the dolls, the usual flat, elongated glass bodies ‘a, a1’ are used as fixed eyes, which are cemented into hemispherical hollow bearing shells to give them mobility. These bearing shells are printed from sheet-shaped material, connected by a bridge ‘c’, with punched-out openings and bearing pins with which they are inserted into the familiar plaster bearings of the head.”
